Alfred's will dated 13 Apr 1929 mentions property at 117 Standish Boulevard in Mt. Lebanon, PA and left his entire estate to Frances C. Pearson. She was also named executrix of the estate. Witnesses were Jacob Greenburger and C. L. Prentice.

Attorney Alfred Laurence Pearson, 65, of Seminole Hills, Mt. Lebanon, son of General Alfred Laurence Pearson, who commanded the National Guard troops in the Pittsburgh railroad riots of 1877, died Saturday at Atlantic City.

He was a resident of Sewickley until three years ago when he became in interested in real estate development in the South Hills. Attorney Pearson was born in Lawrenceville. His father, a brevet general in the Civil War at 27, won the medal of honor for heroic services. The only son of the general was educated in Pittsburgh schools. He spent his entire life in Pittsburgh, and when a young man was associated in law practice with Attorney James Francis Burke. He had been in poor health for several years.

Three years ago he moved to his home at 117 Standish boulevard, Seminole Hills, Mt. Lebanon. In 1896 he married Francis Cabanne, member of a prominent St. Louis family. Three weeks ago he buried one of his three children, Alfred Laurence Pearson. He leaves a son, John C. Pearson, and a daughter, Mrs. Russell Beck, besides his widow. Attorney Pearson was a member of the Allegheny Country and the Duquesne clubs until his health became poor. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Freyvogel funeral home, Fifth avenue. Burial will be in the family plot in Allegheny cemetery.

On 16 Jan 1930, Greenberger & Prentice were deposed and said they were present at the will's publishing. Application for Probate of the Will was on 18 Jan 1930. It shows Alfred L. Pearson a resident of Mt. Lebanon Twp. died in Atlantic City, New Jersey 23 Nov 1929 at 9 AM. His personal estate was valued at $20,000. The value of his real estate was listed as "none."

Funeral services for Attorney Alfred Lawrence Pearson, 65, of Seminole Hills, Mt. Lebanon, were held from the Freyvogle funeral home, Fifth avenue, yesterday. He died Saturday in Atlantic City. Mr. Pearson moved to Mt. Lebanon three years ago from Sewickley. He was born in Lawrenceville and had spent his life in the Pittsburgh district. His father was General Alfred L. Pearson, who won the medal of honor for bravery in the Civil war and commanded the National Guard troops in the Pittsburgh railroad riots in 1877. He leaves his widow, a son, John C. Pearson, and a daughter, Mrs. Russell Beck.
