Ervin aka Punky Williams

 General Notes:
Ervin “Punky” Williams of Schurz, Nev. passed away on April 21, 2009 at Life Care Center of Reno. He was a brick mason by trade, a member of the Walker River Paiute Tribe and a WWII army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Hicks Williams; parents, Murphy and Mamie Jones Williams; brothers, Louie, Clarence, Elwood, Alvin, Charles and Herman Williams; sisters, Lillian Mitchell, Clara and Delores Williams.
He is survived by his brothers, Jack of Hawthorne, Everett “Chucko” of Carson City; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home in Fallon. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Schurz Tribal Gym with interment to follow in the Schurz cemetery.
