Carol, sounds like your on the right track with the Langan's and St.Germaines in Canada. It's to my understanding that they traveled back and forth from ND, to Canada, Duck Mountain if I remember correctly. If you have any further info. I would love to have it. Thanks. I am also a decent of the Langan/St.Germaine group. According to what I have you are correct with all the info.

Hi - I am really interested in this info as these are my husband's gr. gr.as well! I am trying to link him to the Turtle Mountain Band (and they have found record of Angelique and Jean Baptiste there as well - I spoke to someone in membership tooday!!) They only have record of Angelique and Jean Baptispte, no treaty ID number's but have told me if I can give names of others in the family, they may be able to locate the link for us. Thanks!

Jean-Baptiste married Angelique St. Germain, daughter of Francois St. Germain and Louise Saucier dit Chateau dit Morand, on 7 Feb 1865. (Angelique St. Germain was born 1 Oct 1849 or 1850 in St Francois-Xavier, Manitoba, Canada and died on an unknown date in willow Bunch.)
