She is shown in an 1891 canadian census living with her son, Hyacinthe and his family. She says she is 78 years old and widowed. She says she was born in the Northwest territories. she is not french canadian and her father was born in Quebec. Her mother was born in the Northwest territories (Manitoba).

In a marriage document (her daughter Isabelle) to Burton, she says her mother is Louise Chateau or Choteau which would explain why this name is on the pedigree documents.

Why was her name Chateau? did she remarry after Francois died? Do not know where Saucier comes from.

Louise married Francois St. Germain, son of Living and Living, on 21 Sep 1829 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. (Francois St. Germain was born 1782 or 1785 in St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba and died on 15 May 1871 in St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba.)
