Again this is very confusing because there was an Indian child of Mattie and Johnny, a male born around 1881 according to a 1900 census; very different date then 1896. I think Tom did not know his true birth date and Indians did not keep record. Mattie was with Johnny still in 1896, so this must be their son. Jennie claims only one full brother and it's Tom.
