Col Alfred M Wood

A prominent Procter and Gamble executive and much decorated aviation hero of both World Wars I and II, Colonel Wood died in 1997 at the age of 101. He was the last surviving World War I Naval Aviator.

Alfred married Mary K Swain, daughter of Henry Edward Swain and Dorothy Charlotta Lottie or Lotta Fisher, in 1958. (Mary K Swain was born on 16 Oct 1907 in Eminence, KY, died on 16 May 2007 and was buried in Berea Cemetery, Berea, Kentucky.)
