Mary C. Gorman Thompson

  General Notes:

Mary C. Thompson, 51, a resident of 425 Sugarcreek Drive, Franklin,
formerly of Albuquerque, died peacefully at 6:02 a.m. Saturday, Sept.
19, 2009 in UPMC Northwest of Seneca, following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 9, 1957, in Scranton, she was the beloved daughter of Rita
Clark Gorman and the late Robert B. Gorman.

She graduated in 1975 from Rocky Grove High School.

Mary will best be remembered by her family and friends as a free
spirited person who loved living life to its fullest. She had a
passion for computers, was a very artistic person and was recognized
most especially for her manicured gardens around her home.

She was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her mother, Rita Gorman Judy of Franklin, she is
survived by a son, Ryan R. Thompson of Dempseytown; a brother, Mark E.
Gorman and his wife, Kate Walker, of Alexandria, Va.; a niece; and two
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public visitation.

A private family graveside committal service will be held in Wildwood
Cemetery of Williamsport.

County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Oil City, Pa., 16301.

The Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home of 1328 Elk St., Franklin, is in
charge of funeral arrangements.
