Davida Rae Courchene, age 64, of Billings, Montana, formerly of Wolf Point, MT, passed away on September 2, 2009, in Billings of complications from surgery.

Davida was born February 16, 1945 in Wolf Point to Virginia Elizabeth Wolf and David Joseph Courchene.

She was a sister to seven brothers who were always protective of her. She attended schools in Wolf Point at Immaculate Conception Catholic School and Wolf Point High School.

She married Bill Bohlman on November 17, 1962. Together they had a loving daughter, Kari Renee (the love of her life) who later gave her two granddaughters, Heather and Kristen.

Davida was always ready to organize a camping trip. She enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing and was always enthusiastic about a good country concert. Energy for Two, her softball team, took 2nd in the state in 1970. Her most memorable occupation was being with the Federal Cartridge Factory in Minneapolis, MN making ammo for the Vietnam War.

She loved and had a smile for everyone and never knew a stranger. Davida always asked how everyone else was doing as her own health was slowly slipping away. Her flowers will attest to her love of nature and always looking at the bright side. Rest peacefully gentle heart, we love and miss you dearly.

Preceding her in death were her parents, David and Virginia Courchene and three brothers, David, Richard and Jeri Courchene.

Davida is survived by her only daughter, Kari Renee (Tom) Eller and two granddaughters, Heather Eller and Kristen Eller all of Princeton, MN; her brothers, Phillip Courchene of Monterey CA, Greg Courchene of East Glacier, MT and Keven Courchene and Curtis ‘Cadillac’ Courchene both of Wolf Point.
