David LaRoque

  General Notes:

He is a farmer. He was born in North Dakota; his father mixed blood, and his mother Sioux. He attended Haskell school says he is 3/4 Indian.

A turtle mountain chippewa. In 1927 elected leader of the lost band of the Chippewa.

David married Mrs. Mary Rose or Marie Mitchell La Roque, daughter of Joseph aka Dave or David Indian name: Bloody Knife Mitchell and Isabelle St. Germain, on 22 Jul 1905 in Williston. (Mrs. Mary Rose or Marie Mitchell La Roque was born on 31 Dec 1867 in Minot and died on 1 Nov 1956 in Wolf Point, Montana.)
