In a 1910 census, she had been widowed. Her father was born in Germany, and her mother was born in N. Dakota, a Sioux. They were married for 10 years before she passed away.

Found marriage document on Family search.org. Dan says he was born at White Earth, ND. Lucy B Mitchell witness. Curious found 2nd marriage document showing marriage date of 1920?? maybe a divorce?
